Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Barry Diamond was very busy in this movie. In addition to playing a stage hand, he also played the blind person at the funeral that fell into the grave yelling "Wait, I'm not dead!", the stoner in Captain Cloud's band who shouted "I've got the bong!", and the guy with his face painted black and white who was screaming "Nada, Nada, Nada, Nada, Nada, Nada..." and introduced Neil's little sister Susie to his "children" in the balcony. more
Goofs:
Continuity: During the reprise of "Hot Shot", when Reggie is lying at the front of the stage singing, a person with a distinctive checked cloth cap can be seen in shots from the audience side, but isn't there in shots from the stage side. more
Quotes:
King Blues: Hey Cool, don't drink that wine, it struck me blind!
Cool: You ain't blind, you just in the damn closet.

Still funny after all these years, 27 January 2000
8/10
Author: Junkill from Dallas, Texas

Over the years I have probably viewed this picture about 20 times, and I really don't get tired of it. It is so full of silly things, injokes about the Rock n Roll 'thing' and absolutely outrageous performances that it is always fun to watch and to show to friends. Malcolm McDowell's scene-chewing Jagger-Bowie character of Reggie Wanker is an absolute highlight and look for some amazing personalities in roles in this movie. This is one that never loses its charm.
