Writer 'Max Kleven (I)' intended the part of young Bobby Bellows to be played by his son. However, his son said that he didn't want to do it, so instead Kleven cast a neighbor's son in the role.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: Shots of Kyle driving red pick-up that he escapes in are shown mirrored back-to-front in several shots - the steering wheel is clearly on the wrong side.
