A lot of people compare this movie to American Pie, I would have to disagree with a lot of them. For one thing Porky's was not gross, it was a lot of fun and it was nostalgic for a era of the 1950's, not the 1990's which are not as simple or innocent as those days were back then. Plus Porky's would have made more money than American Pie if you were to adjust their total grosses through inflation, those figures would make any studio exec. just about cry!
