* The violence in this film is moderate with mild bloodletting and quick cuts due to excisions made to appease the MPAA at the time of release in 1981.
In a flashback sequence to the previous film, a woman attacks a girl with a large knife and comes at her, but the girl hits her with a fireplace poker, knocking her over onto a couch. The girl runs outside and finds a girl's bloody corpse in a car with a slit throat and a man's bloody corpse with a knife in his chest hanging upside down from a tree. The girl is then attacked on a beach as the woman stabs a machete at her, but misses and hits the ground as the girl rolls out of the way. They then struggle on the ground and the woman grabs the girl by the neck, attempting to strangle her and then bites her on the arm. She then begins to beat the girl's head against the ground, but the girl bites the woman's arm and runs across the beach, grabbing the machete, and runs at the woman, decapitating her (we see her bloody head fall into the water, the bloody stump at the top of her neck, and some blood on the machete.) Later, as the girl waits for help in the boat, a boy's decomposing corpse jumps out of the lake and pulls her underwater. We then see the girl in a hospital, apparently injured, but alive.
A girl finds a bloody, severed head in her refrigerator and is then stabbed in the head with an ice pick.
A man is strangled to death with barbed wire (we see blood on his neck.)
A girl and a boy find a dog's mangled, bloody corpse on the ground in a forest.
A man is stabbed in the head with the back of a hammer.
A boy's throat is slit with a machete (blood pours from the wound.)
A girl finds a boy's corpse, then turns around, apparently seeing the killer, and is killed off-screen.
A boy in a wheelchair is stabbed in the face with a machete (the machete is shown in his face surrounded by blood) and he and the wheelchair roll down a flight of stairs.
A girl and a boy are double-impaled with a spear while in bed having sex (we see the spear go through the bed with blood on its tip.)
A girl's leg is slashed with a kitchen knife (we see blood trickle from the wound) and falls against a wall, revealing a boy's bloody corpse. The girl is then stabbed to death with the knife (a bit of blood is visible on her lip.) Her corpse is later dragged down a staircase by the killer (we see blood on the leg of her pants.)
A girl and a boy find a pool of blood on a bed and then run to get help when suddenly, the killer jumps out and attacks the boy. The girl escapes to a bathroom and hides there for a moment until the killer breaks through a window with his hand from outside and the girl runs to a kitchen, grabbing a knife. The killer then breaks through the door with a pitchfork and the girl opens a pantry door, revealing a man's bloody corpse. The girl climbs through a window and runs into a car outside. The killer suddenly begins tearing through the car's roof with the pitchfork and reaches inside to grab her foot, but the girl kicks the passenger side door open, knocking him off the car. The girl runs through a forest, hiding behind a bush until the killer reappears, and kicks him, knocking him over once again. The girl continues to run through the forest and the killer jumps out from behind a tree, but she leaps behind another, sending him to the ground for a third time. Finding the girl's cabin, the killer enters and searches for the girl as she hides underneath a bed. The girl, now believing the killer to be gone, crawls out from under the bed, when suddenly, he appears above her on top of a chair, wielding the pitchfork, but the chair breaks, sending him to the ground, and the pitchfork stabs into the floor, breaking in half. The girl runs out of the room and grabs a chainsaw, which she appears to slash his arm with (some of his blood splatters on the girl's shirt.) The killer falls to the floor and the girl grabs the remains of the chair, using them to beat him and knock him unconscious. The girl then runs through the forest to a run-down cabin. The killer suddenly reappears outside a window and the girl runs into a room, holding it shut with a log. Inside the room, she finds a severed head and several corpses. The killer begins violently breaking down the door with a pickax, entering the room. The girl grabs a machete and raises it to stab him, but he knocks it out of her hands with the pickax and slashes her leg (we see blood as a result.) The girl slumps to the floor as the boy enters the room and attacks the killer. They struggle across the room, tearing walls apart and causing the ceiling to break. They scuffle on the floor as the girl grabs the machete, raises it into the air, and embeds it in the killer's shoulder (we see some blood.) He then falls to the ground, dead.
The girl and boy escape back to the girl's cabin, where they suddenly hear a noise. The boy walks up to the door, holding the bottom half of the pitchfork as the girl sits on the bed, ready to strike with the top half, but when the door opens, it is only another girl's pet dog. As the girl calls to it, the unmasked killer suddenly smashes through the window behind her and pulls her out. She then awakes in a hospital bed being put in an ambulance with no recollection of what happened to the boy or the dog.
