Peter O'Toole, who has been nominated for an Oscar seven times -- beginning with 1962's Lawrence of Arabia and including 1968's The Lion in Winter, 1980's The Stunt Man and 1982's My Favorite Year -- but has never won, has been chosen to receive an honorary Oscar at this year's awards show on March 23. In a statement, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said that the citation will read: "Peter O'Toole - whose remarkable talents have provided cinema history with some of its most memorable characters."
