Cheech's boss, whom with he only spoke to on the phone, was Mr. Stromberg, another reference to their earlier comedy work on vinyl.

Goofs:

Continuity: In the scene where Red and Chong walk into the music store, Chong picks up a Fender Stratocaster and starts playing. The camera cuts around the store and, when it cuts back to Chong, he is suddenly playing a Gibson Les Paul.

Cheech & Chong's best!

Lots of people I know have only seen Up in Smoke, I guess that's the most popular Cheech & Chong movie, even though this is way funnier. Don't get me wrong, Up in Smoke was good. But this one had Cheech & Chong doing what they do best (asides from smoking dope): causing trouble wherever they go.

This movie isn't even so much about drugs as "Up in Smoke" or "Nice Dreams". And it still was funny. This movie proves that Cheech & Chong have other comedic talents besides weed-humor.
