Trivia:

Filming began in late Dec 1979 (on location in Massachusetts) two months after "10" was released, when heretofore unknown Bo Derek was fast becoming the focus of worldwide attention. Additional love scenes were added to the later studio phase of the shoot, most of which appear in the opening shots of the movie.

Goofs:

Continuity: During the ski race, shots taken on a very sunny day are mixed with shots taken on a cloudy day.

Very quirky.

Quirky, thoroughly offbeat erotic comedy is ultimately worth seeing, despite its talkiness and its occasionally stagy direction. It sure deals with some serious subjects in a less-than-plausible way (the characters are way too calm and civilized), but its gentle eccentricity, and the appealing performances by the entire cast (Bo Derek is stunning!), leave you with a nice impression. Fair film.
