Human Beasts (1980)

BOMB (out of 4)

After The Craving bombed at the box office star Paul Naschy went to Japan for financing where he made this incredibly horrid film. Naschy plays a robber who rips off a Japanese family who run him into the woods trying to kill him. Naschy is taken in by a doctor and he's two daughters but it turns out they're cannibals. Ninety minutes of pure torture and the worst thing is that the action doesn't start until the final twenty seconds. Incredibly bad on all accounts.

The Beast and the Magic Sword would follow this film in Naschy's Japanese career.
