This story about a wildly sexual love affair gives an excellent picture of the torment these people suffer. The flashbacks were intrusive at times but eventually they made sense. I can't understand why the Rank people refused to release the picture, nor can I figure out why I never heard of Theresa Russell. She's great in this film.
