Trivia:

Owing to a bad recording during the Mr.Papadopolous scene, George Harrison's single line, had to be re-dubbed. Harrison was unavailable at the time, so Michael Palin stepped in. It's his voice saying "Ullo", not George.

Goofs:

Revealing mistakes: When the crowd of people that follow Brian claim he is performing miracles a blind man says he is healed. When he falls into the hole you can see there is a stunt mat there to break his fall.

One of the top 10 of all time

True, my tastes are eclectic. This movie is so incredibly clever and thought provoking that it's not surprising that it raised so many hackles. Plus, it's as fast paced and funny as a Marx Brothers movie without the musical breaks. You can watch it 20 times and you'll still sing at the end. Undoubtedly one of the top 10!!
