Supposedly featuring the first ever full contact karate bout,A Force Of One disappoints insubstantially by only offering a few run of the mill, late 70's ring brawls.However,the movie in general suprised me.Much better acted,written and plotted than one might expect.In one of his earlier vehicles,Chuck Norris is as wooden as he ever was,but he manages to hack it through a much more demanding role than usual.
