• Continuity: A drunken Elliott enters the apartment and sits on the window ledge, knocking a potted plant to the ground far below. A few moments later the plant has returned.
  
  
• Errors in geography: Paula makes sandwiches with Best Foods mayonnaise, but in the eastern U.S., the Best Foods brand is called Hellman's.
  
  
• Continuity: When Elliott comes home drunk, he knocks over a table with a typewriter on it, in the next shot, the table looks undisturbed.
  
  

• Continuity: At the end when Elliott is leaving the apartment to go make the movie, the scarf he is wearing goes from wrapped around his neck to hanging loose to wrapped again between shots.
  
  
• Continuity: The Coca Cola can on the edge of the bathtub disappears and reappears while Paula is bathing/talking to Lucy.
  
  
• Continuity: During the Spagettii dinner, Lucy is talking, holding a fork wrapped with Spagettii, a second later, in mid-sentence, it is empty.
  
  
• Continuity: When chasing the thieves, Paula drops three items that disappear in the next cut.
  
  
• Continuity: The extent to which Elliott has his head stuck into the headboard changes.
  
  
• Continuity: At the end, the horse drawn carriage passes the same bank twice, going in opposite directions.
  
  
• Errors in geography: When Paula tells Eliot outside the liquor store that somebody stole her purse (handbag) there is a NYC Police car in the front background. Additionally, when Eliot confronts the muggers that stole Paula's bag at the red light, there is another NYC Police car right before the intersection in the left corner.
