Continuity: In the motorcycle chases involving the sheriff, he's supposed to have a full-grown mustache, when he's shown inside the patrol car, he doesn't have one, but when he's shown inside his police car, he has one.

A decent, fun car chase film.

Jack Vacek, who worked as a cameraman on the original "Gone In 60 Seconds", decided to make his own version with the movie focused mainly on the endless car chase sequences throughout the film. He plays Smokey, an easygoing highway patrolman who, during his off-hours, likes to start cat-and-mouse pursuits on his motorcycle with the local sheriff. To make some extra money, he and and his partner Ed (Ed Abrams) are given jobs to repossess cars. Little do they know that the cars are actually stolen and gets chased by the cops every time. They then uncover a scandal that local crime boss Lewis Sloan (Tex Taylor)is in charge of the crooked business. To get even they steal Sloan's Merecedes-Benz en route to a high-speed car chase finale.

This really is an independent film, since the movie is really-low budget and many of the actors were mainly family and friends of Vacek's. His real-life wife Patrice Schubert plays Vacek's love interest. Also in the film is Norman Schubert as Sloan's burly bodyguard, Tami Schubert as Vacek's nagging ex-girlfriend, and George Cole, who was in the original "Gone In 60 Seconds". It's still a fun movie to see.
