If you dig 70s Italian exploitation cinema and crime films, Sergio Grieco's Mad Dog Killer (which is also known as Beast With A Gun) is a masterpiece you must not miss. Packed with cold-blooded violence, which includes gunfights, fistfights, car chase, torture and rape, this nasty and brutal thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way. Make sure no one calls because you won't be able to stick your eyes off the screen. This is a ride you won't forget! Nanni Vitali, the movie's main villain, is brilliantly played by Helmut Berger (The Godfather Part 3). The rest of the cast shines as well, but with his lines and his charisma, Helmut Berger easily steals the show every time he's on screen. The cinematography and direction are mostly flawless. The cheap look of the movie makes it an even more grim and disturbing experience. The soundtrack is also great, as usual with 70s Italian films. People who enjoyed Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs should definitely give it a try, as well as anyone interested in crime dramas and exploitation films. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
