Miscellaneous: Whether you listen to the tag line or the characters in the movie, the grizzly is supposedly anywhere from 15 to 18 feet tall. But at the end of the movie, when it is attacking the helicopter, it is clearly less than 10 feet tall on its hind legs

The first of many Jaws rips but this one here is certainly the best. A 15-foot, 2000 pound grizzly is stalking campers so head chief (Christopher George) goes after it. Director William Girdler never made it out of "B" films before being killed while scouting for another movie but what he did a very good job at making these "less than original" films work. The bear attacks are all silly and gory but that's part of the fun. George is a cult hero in these types of roles and he too really shines here.
