I've bought this film a year ago in Cash Generator. All I can say that it is a brilliant martial arts trashterpiece. The movie involves a drug operation and such (reminds you of Enter The Dragon doesn't it?) and a martial arts heroine must save her brother held captive on the island. The fight scenes are top notch here. The director lifts this movie way above standard kung-fu fare. The thing that's unsettling though is the heroine's face which looks identical to Bruce Lee's. Sonny Chiba has a minor role here and there but steals the show whenever the opportunity arises. Oh and if you didn't know there was a scene that was cut where Sonny Chiba's character rips out a man's stomach. The uncut version has never been shown in America and elsewhere. Either Adness or Optimum should have the honours of finding and remastering the original version.
