Pam Grier is the only reason to watch this, 2 July 2007
6/10
Author: TheatreX from Louisville, KY

Pam Grier plays a Chicago private eye who comes back to Louisville to help out her dad when he seems to be threatened by thugs wanting to buy out his loan company. Of course when things get a little more than out of hand and her dad is killed, then things get REALLY nasty, because she's an ex-cop and she's not above getting down and dirty. Lots of old Louisville locations, some of which (I guess) are no longer here, and some which I actually recognize. Anyway Grier manages to infiltrate this ring which is actually run by some insurance guy who is one smug S.O.B. and a big chase on the Ohio River caps off the picture (not to mention that someone gets their just due, of course). Despite the fact that this isn't all that great, it's still kind of a fun movie & it's also worth a look for ogling the horrendous mid-70's fashions, which will definitely give you pause. 6 out of 10.
