  • Crew or equipment visible: Two policemen directing traffic - one waving and another carrying a bullhorn - are visible in the middle of the interstate during the car crash as the bus crashes into the pileup.

  • Continuity: In the crowd near the end of the film, Kenny Fraiser is just wearing his regular blue shirt he has worn through out the film. However, after Barbera Jean starts singing solo, we see him come into the crowd wearing a brown jacket.

  • Factual errors: In the scene at the Grand Ol' Opry, Haven Hamilton gives the zip code for Vanderbilt Hospital as "27322". The hospital's zip code is actually "37232".

  • Continuity: In the conversation between Linnea and Opal in the car, Linnea is eating a popsicle while she tells Opal about her children. A moment later, the popsicle is nowhere to be seen.

  • Continuity: When the Mercedes bus (model O 309) breaks the gate-arm at the Nashville Airport (21:00 in), there is clear right-front damage, the bumper is bent, headlight broken, and there is no sign on the right side of the bus. But, at the freeway accident scene (22:12 in; on I-24 near Shelby Avenue), the passengers act like the damage just happened (saying: "Oh no." And looking at the damage), and now there is a sign on the right side that reads: "Connie White" and has her image.

  • Factual errors: When attempting to interview Tommy Brown, Opal says that she is from the BBC. When questioned, she explains that this stands for the British Broadcasting Company. It actually stands for the British Broadcasting Corporation.
