The enormously endowed "Chesty" Morgan (billed here as Zsa Zsa) is Crystal, a "successful advertising executive" (!) who's girlfriend to a gangster named Larry (Richard Towers). When Larry double crosses his boss, he's taken out by two of his fellow goons. This doesn't sit well with Crystal, who tracks down the goons and proceeds to take them out using her own ample assets. This is the kind of thing one simply has to see to believe...or disbelieve, as the copy on the Something Weird DVD proclaims. It's exploitation at a very silly, wacky level. Producer / director Doris Wishman certainly exploits Ms. Morgan's bosom at every opportunity. Hey, who needs a plot when something like that can be shoved in the viewers' face every few minutes? In fact, for a movie running a mere 76 minutes, one can notice the padding. In any event, it just allows us to goggle at Ms. Morgan's "acting" ability. And this includes her voice-over narration. The scenes of her offing her quarries definitely make the movie, although she also does two strip numbers that might be of some interest.Folks are bound to recognize Towers; as Gaylord St. James, he played the father in "The Last House on the Left". The cast also includes porn actor Harry Reems in the role of one of the thugs, Tony.It ends on a surprisingly downbeat note, with a last minute story twist that's rather predictable in retrospect. It's languidly paced, sordid stuff with a cool soundtrack, not-so- hot acting, and not as much sex as one might expect. It's certainly amusing on its own low- key, lowbrow level.7/10
