Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Though Diddy is a born-and-bred New Yorker, the guy certainly gets around. He jets back and forth between coasts, is spotted all over Europe, regularly jaunts to islands and his upcoming album is called Last Train to Paris. It's gotten to the point where just about every city in the world can be considered home for the man born Sean Combs. That's why it wasn't surprising to see him in Miami yesterday. He dropped in to radio station Y100 to chat about his new album and his various other projects (including the latest on Day26 and Dirty Money). Anticipation continues to build for Diddy's new album, »

Whatever label Diddy does business with, Day26 say they will always share a personal and professional bond with the man who made them famous.
"It really doesn't affect us," Willie Taylor said of Diddy's trek from Atlantic Records to Interscope. "Diddy left to go to Interscope. Big up to Diddy-Dirty Money. Day26 is still Atlantic. We still have the blessings of Diddy. Anything we need from him, he's like a big brother to us. The support is still there."
Day26 are in the midst of leaving Bad Boy Records, according to their spokesperson, but the guys say Diddy will most likely still be involved in their next album.
"He's not gone," Qwanell "Que" Mosley insisted. "He's there if he wants it. »

Less than a year after releasing his eighth studio album, "Back on My B.S.," New York rapper Busta Rhymes plans to strengthen the state of the music industry, which he says is "dying like cancer is killing it," with his brand new effort, "The Chemo.""I called the album 'The Chemo' because it seems like the industry and music overall is dying slowly," Busta told Billboard.com of the Flipmode/Universal Motown project, slated for an early 2010 release."The cancer that's stricken the business is killing the music, not only from a business standpoint, but also the value of the content and the creativity behind it. I just want to start the first stage of chemotherapy treatment that needs to take place and hopefully inspire others to do their part and contribute to different stages of the cure."Still, »

Another song, this time called "Love Come Down", from P. Diddy's Hip-Hop group Dirty Money has got a music video. Diddy and his bandmates Kalenna and Danity Kane's former member Dawn Richard appear in all-black gear.
"It reminds me of the old Bad Boy videos, when you saw shiny suits and you said, 'This is official'," Richard told MTV on the set of the video earlier last month. "It felt like a club on TV. This is what it is. It's like the futuristic '90s. It's raw - that's what the record is and our sound is."
"It's what love is. Love is like that. You're up, down, around, in your face - that's kinda what this video is. We take you to a place where it's just three people, black, and it's telling you a story. I miss videos when people told you exactly what the song was about. »

Diddy says he's just taking his time. His Last Train to Paris doesn't arrive until next year, but he's going to continue to put out music and get the audience ready for his LP.
"We're just trying to roll it out properly," Diddy told MTV News. "I wanted a chance to lay out songs for you. A lot of singles we putting out now — that's the introduction. We didn't even get to that Train music. We're hitting you with warning shots, letting you know we're here.
"I wanted to make sure I told the story, I took my time and didn't want to alienate people," he added. "As soon as you hit [the fans] with something that's too far, they be »

Diddy insists his new group is more than a trio. The legendary mogul says Diddy-Dirty Money is a "look, sound, feeling, emotion," and wants it to be a movement.
On Tuesday (October 20) in Los Angeles, the group shot the video for "Love Come Down."
"Finding love, losing love and getting love back again," Dawn Richard, formerly of Danity Kane, said about the 2010 album Last Train to Paris. "This single off of that album demonstrates that. 'Love Come Down' ... Kalenna and I were in the studio vibing and Puff walks in. He was like, 'I love that melody.' It just fell into place. »

P. Diddy placed a studio audience on lockdown after losing his diamond ring during a TV appearance in New York. The rapper joined his Dirty Money bandmates Dawn Richard and Kalenna for the Bet network's 106 & Park chart show on Tuesday. However, during his entrance the star accidentally threw his $$20,000 (£13,000) band into the crowd as he flung wads of cash up in the air. Diddy continued filming the live show until cameras stopped rolling for a commercial break, when he promptly ordered the building be shut down, says the New York Post. We already know that last month's MTV Video Music Awards brought together host Russell Brand and Rivers Cuomo collaborator Katy Perry. Now it seems like a professional relationship might have got its start that night at Radio City Music Hall.
Yesterday on Twitter, Justin Bieber approached Diddy about a collaboration. "Do you want this song I produced and sing on on your album?" he asked the legendary hip-hop mogul. He then followed up with a series of tweets to try to rally his followers. "Everyone tell @iamdiddy we need to make this J Bieber / P Diddy collab song happen," he wrote. He later re-tweeted a note from one of his followers that suggested that people on Twitter make "#diddyandbieber" a trending topic.
Clearly, his persistence paid off, as Diddy responded to one of Bieber's tweets. "Send me the song," Diddy wrote. "I'll check it out. Thanks."

"I would definitely love to do the next Lox album," he told Mixtape Daily recently in Los Angeles. "I would love to collaborate with them. I think it's important just to do. ... I would look forward to it."

P. Diddy recently sat down with MTV, talking about who will be featured on his Interscope debut album "Last Train to Paris". Hottest music talents Drake, T-Pain, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and possibly Jay-z are mentioned as the contributors.
"The thing about the album, it's not about the features," Diddy explained further. "Each artist, they got down with the story line, they got down with the movement. I think that's when features work - when people come into your work and they adapt to what you're trying to portray."
"Last Train to Paris" is scheduled to be released sometime in April 2010. It also features P. Diddy's newly-formed Hip-Hop group, Dirty Money, which consists of him, Danity Kane's ex-member Dawn Richard and singer/songwriter Kalenna. »

Diddy has had a few mantras over the years, from "we won't stop" to "the saga continues," which also doubled as an album title of him. Now, the hip-hop heavyweight has another one to add to the list: "It's a new era for Bad Boy."
Diddy has taken his label to a new company, recently announcing a partnership with Interscope Records after spending the past five years at Atlantic Records. The new union will usher in Diddy's next LP, the much-hyped concept album Last Train to Paris. On the project, Diddy will be aided by ex-Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard and songwriter Kalenna Harper, who make up the group Dirty Money along with the music mogul.

It is official, P. Diddy has been signed to Interscope Records. Rumor that he sealed a deal with the giant recording company actually sparked days before he opened up about his departure from Atlantic Records.
"I am excited to be partnering with Jimmy Iovine and the Interscope Records family on all my future music ventures which include my career as a recording artist and upcoming record label," Diddy said in a press release. "With this new deal, I look forward to signing music's next great superstars to the label and continuing the legacy of making great music at my new home. There's one thing about Three 6 Mafia that doesn't change: DJ Paul and Juicy J like to party.
The Memphis twosome throw down in their new clip "Shake My," from their forthcoming album Laws of Power, due November 24.
Directed by Bobby Yan, the video features Three 6 Mafia raving in a basement-like setting while Dirty Money's Kaleena croons over the Rodney Jerkins beat.
The track comes from the Oscar-winning group's first project since 2008's Last 2 Walk, and finds Paul and Juice continuing to move forward as a duo — Crunchy Black left Three 6 Mafia just before the release of that album.
Laws of Power features the Jerkins-produced single along with collaborations with Flo Rida, Gucci Mane and Keri Hilson, among others.

We're still a few hours before the 2009 Video Music Awards begin, but plenty of superstars are already getting ready for tonight's show, which airs live from Radio City Music Hall at 9 p.m. (with the preshow, featuring all the awesome arrivals and fashion, starting at 8). How do we know? They're already tweeting about it. Diddy just announced a few minutes ago that "Dirty money has started getting dressed for the vma's."
Elsewhere in the Twittersphere, a bond has already started between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Perry tweeted, "I hear ur dressing room is next door to me! Just know if you need to borrow a cup o' sugar, I'm your girl. Good luck 2day doll." Swift was flattered by the shout out, so she tweeted back to Perry, "I'm gonna come say hi as soon as I get back there. I love you like I love sparkly dresses."

Diddy already knows what you're thinking: Singing? Him? Yup!
The Bad Boy Records CEO is going into crooner mode for his next album, The Last Train to Paris. It was an unexpected move for one of hip-hop's most successful moguls. Diddy, though, said it's a natural progression in his career, one that's seen him go from rap producer to pop star to fashion designer.
But just in case everyone isn't ready, he's gonna ease fans into the transition with the help of one of his good friends, Hype Williams, who will be directing each of the videos from the album, including the clip for lead single "Angels," which is being released virally Tuesday morning (September 8).
"I didn't wanna overwhelm people with that part of it [me singing]," Diddy explained to MTV News. »
