In fact, this pony is vastly superior to every horse that ever trod the old trail...all except for Trigger that is. No horse out does ol' Roy's cayuse. I felt sorry for this beast because he really got the shaft from life; beginning with a cruel land owner and going on to being sold or traded multiple times, often into harsh and dangerous conditions. I liked the film, but objected to the way it was put together. Many years passed with the appearance of it being just a short while. A sad tale, guaranteed to bring a snarl to the lips of all animal rights activists.
