I was a kid when I saw this series. It was fun for someone my age then, with the period costumes (the setting was during prohibition) and the bumbling gangsters. Unfortunately, it's barely funny. The gags if meant for kids would have worked, but I doubt if the producers planned it that way. John Banner still acts like he's still in Hogan's Heroes and Dean Jones is just dapper. Nothing else surprises.
