Trivia:
In the pilot of the series, Cannon drove a Lincoln Continental Mark III. The car was wrecked by the bad guys in an attempt to scare Cannon off the case. Then, for most of the series, Cannon barreled around in a Lincoln Continental Mark IV. During the last part of the series' run, the chubby private eye's Cannonmobile was the Lincoln Continental Mark V. more

A Great Show I wish I could see again!, 3 September 2001

I agree with the others about the quality and the care that each episode of Cannon had. A memorable TV show that only ended because William Conrad grew tired of doing it and wanted to end it on a high note. There was a "reunion" TV movie called "The return of Frank Cannon" done around 1980 as I recall. Perhaps it will see the light of day again in reruns.
