Hollywood exec's are drooling for the re-make

I wish I was a Hollywood exec because I would rip-off (I mean pay homage to) this film. Imagine, Bruce Willis. Doesn't wear a shirt through entire film. Carries a gun (it is New York you know) and documents what it is like to be his egotistical self an entire week. I love it already, because I know that what ever Hollywood change to this film will only add to my fondness and admiration for original film-makers of this classic.
