Own the rights?
When I heard this was coming up on the late night movie, I got excited because it would be my first H.G. Lewis film. I figured it would be all of the characters in Mother Goose land getting slaughtered by an axe-wielding maniac. I wasn't so lucky. It turns out this is a kiddie movie, and an awful one at that. Old King Cole stands around trying hard to seem convincing while people from Mother Goose land walk around doing stupid tricks. There's also this incredibly annoying rag doll thats walks around and bothers all the characters not to mention the viewer. This film looks like it was actually filmed right off of a stage at a local high school. This film does have one interesting point, however. It takes a look into insanity.
