Own the rights?
I much enjoyed "Convoy" while it was airing and I can't understand why it lasted only one season. It was as good as many other World War II-military drama series and a damned sight better than most of them. If one adds that it was historically more accurate than a lot of the other military dramas of the time and treated a much-neglected phase of World War II, the Atlantic convoys and their battles with Germany's U-boat arm, and that it consisted of well-written, interesting stories and portrayed exciting action with good acting by its cast, then I cannot understand why it did not continue for several years. "Convoy" was a cut above most World World II dramas produced for t.v. in the 1960s and it deserved a much, much better fate.
