This is the remastered version. It can be identified by the text "NEWLY REMASTERED VERSION" on the back of the jacket. According to the Laserdisc Newsletter, this disc is better than the 1991 letterbox edition, but it is still not perfect. They corrected mainly the colors, which were very bad on the first version.
