This is a very fine movie, because it deals with intelligence and human sensibility. Before seeing it, I was afraid there will be some psychological mistakes. It's not the case. This kind of film, very realistic, was very present in the early sixties, when American moviemakers keep distances from the Hollywood style. It was also present in France (Nouvelle vague) and in England. The idea was that movie should represent
reality. It's a bit sad to know that director Frank Perry will do an awful film like Mommie Dearest in the future. But fans of Kubrick's 2001 are very happy to see young Keir Dullea! Janet Margolin is wonderful.
