Enjoyable to be a part of; the music still haunts me., 5 November 2002

From beginning to end, the shear desperation, miscommunication, and finally sacrifice and joy; this movie was a lesson in the results of selfishness and then the results from self-sacrifice and generosity. The music that threaded through the entire movie has stayed with me until now. I bought this movie at an exhorbitant price, about 15 years ago--and felt that it was worth every penny. It is two hours of enjoyable escape with the family in Marseilles. Every single member of the cast was outstanding in this movie.
