You'd never think 67 minutes could feel like an eternity!, 23 May 2003

Despite its short running time, INVISIBLE INVADERS is so painfully slow that you'll have to take several breaks before reaching the end - that is, if you have the fortitude to sit through the entire thing! I will admit that the movie does have its (unintentionally) funny moments: the OBVIOUS stock footage, the same radio announcer booth set used twice with only minor redressing, a clearly visible wire holding up a radio receiver supposedly being handled by one of the invisible invaders, and the ludicrous plan to capture an invader. If the movie had constantly delivered such scenes, we would have had a definite rival for PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. As it is now, you have to wonder why MGM bothered to give it a DVD release... though at least they were wise enough to put it on one of their double-feature DVDs!
