• Continuity: When the toast flies out of the toaster it is lightly toasted, but as it comes down it's almost burnt.
  
  
• Continuity: When Lou asks Max to tell him the theory, he is holding an open book. But in the next shot the book is closed.
  
  
• Continuity: When Emmy Lou grabs the bag of eggs she knocks over the coffee pot but in the next shot the coffee pot is still standing.
  
  

• Continuity: When Emmy Lou drops an egg on the dog it hits him on the nose and nothing stays on him but in the next shot the dog has a big piece of egg shell on his head.
  
  
• Continuity: Emmy Lou is standing in a canyon and she's face to face with Lou Costello yet when she cries a tear falls on him from directly above.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Emmy Lou finally gets something to drink she finishes it and drops her hand below the frame. While a sound effect of the container crashing to the ground can be heard, Dorothy Provine does not appear to have released the prop. Indeed, in the following shot it is still in her hands.
  
  
• Continuity: When Lou Costello is made a booster, a booster hat is placed on his head. But in the next shot it's in his hands and he places on his head himself.
  
  
• Continuity: When Emmy Lou sprays Uncle Raven with water, he gets soaking wet, but in the next shot he's completely dry.
