9 January 1959Gil Favor and Rowdy Yates take charge of a tumbleweed wagon of six prisoners en route to Fort Craig where they will drop off the prisoners for trial. The prisoners include a beautiful woman named Dallas Storm whose husband Luke Storm is in pursuit of the wagon. To further complicate matters two of the prisoners are constantly scheming and attempting escape.
16 January 1959While stopping at a church to fill their water barrels Rowdy meets an old army buddy who's getting married. Buzz Travis is marrying the daughter of wealthy rancher Justice Cardin. They are all invited to attend the reception. On the way there they meet Ward Mastic, Cardin's embittered stepson who wants what he claims is rightly his. And he'll stop at nothing to get it.
23 January 1959A stagecoach running fast loses control and turns over with a full load of passengers. The stage was being stalked by a mysterious rider with a black satchel. Favor lets the passengers ride with the drive when he notices that now they are being stalked by the mysterious figure. His name is Jardin and he's a paid assassin. He's come for one of them but he's not saying who.
30 January 1959Gil breaks his own rule, costing 1 drover his life & putting Rowdy in the gun-sights of a jealous marshal, when the trail boss lets his boys go wild in a town with a crooked roulette wheel and the marshal's luscious young wife desperately seeking any way to escape. Rowdy is a perfect foil, while the Marshal's tiny Iago Poke pushes for a deadly confrontation.

13 February 1959Rancher incites showdown to seize Commanche reservation, so Gil & Rowdy intervene because the Commanches kept their cattle drive from being attacked by the rancher, Jed Reston. The Rawhiders were suffering from a dry spell, so Jed offered his vast, heavily-guarded land for grazing, but Jed's son's whips framed-up Commanche Taslatch, scratching to establish an adjacent farm, leading Gil to advocate for Taslatch's family. The Restons kicks Gil's cattle off his land, forcing Gil to seek grazing rights on the reservation.

27 February 1959Gil finds the killer of a stray steer is the gorgeous head of a female Wild West show, stranded in dangerous territory. He invites the Annie Oakleys to travel with the drive, to the delight of all, especially the women's leader Hannah Haley, who locks Gil in her rifle sights. Gil's pushing his cattle to cross a nearby river before it deepens, but so are a menacing crew of leather men.
6 March 1959Disease suddenly fells Rowdy & several cattle, as the drive approaches a town. Fearing anthrax, the citizens refuse to let their medicine man attend to Rowdy, but a feisty young nurse escapes town with Rowdy. Gil also has to prevent his cowboys from fleeing, while the townsmen arm to keep the cattle & drovers quarantined.

18 September 1959Rowdy's tricked into serving as a treat for a Day of the Dead celebration - he must break killer stallion El Muerte for the imperious horse breeder Senora Luisa. The stallion's already disabled her daughter, and her peasants conspire to join Benito Juarez's rebellion across the Texas border, forcing Rowdy into deadly choices, imperiling his return to the cattle drive.
25 September 1959Aurora Borealis far out on the prairie turns out to be a lone child whose family was slaughtered, seeking his father. Though the boy tries to fend off trail scout Pete by shooting home-made roman candles at him, Pete and the drovers welcome the distraught boy & his pony onto the drive. But cool trail boss Gil is suspicious, especially when the man with no kneecap shows up...
2 October 1959A dying woman stumbles into the cattle drive. Her husband, a feared gunslinger turned rancher, soon shows up and accuses the drovers of shooting her. Gil & Rowdy fear that their cattle are coming down with a deadly disease, so they turn the herd towards the Rodney Dangerfield chemical dipping station, on the widowed rancher's recommendation.
9 October 1959When a delusional old man attacks the passing drovers, his daughter-in-law enlists Gil & Rowdy's help with the powerful ex-boxing champ. The Marshal who made the town safe, is now drunk on his own power, enforcing petty rules to keep the tiniest semblance of trouble out of his jurisdiction. Factoring heavily into the situation is that the daughter-in-law is exquisite and widowed.

11 December 1959Joe Btfsplk joins the drive, bringing with him St. Elmo's Fire and avenging Commanches. Gil treats the young loner as a little brother, but wrangler Hey Soos preaches that the youngster's bad luck will bring death. 14 October 1960Aztec Mitla saves Gil's life from a dust storm, in the last steps of his 1500 mile walk to find a legendary princess to save his village in Mexico. Gil accompanies Mitla to the nearest town, and both seem to discover what they desperately need: water for Gil's dying cattle, and a gorgeous raven-tressed b-girl wearing a necklace of Mexican coins. But the saloon dancer's married lover, the town's mayor, stands defiantly in the way of both quests.
21 October 1960Battling a drought, Gil Favor turns the drive off the trail onto badlands, to save time. But his drovers doubt Gil's judgment, especially after a more experienced trail boss who's passing by, advises against the rougher route. Gil, suffering brain fever from an old Civil War injury, seeks the help of the stern, older boss, who is fleeing back home from an unnamed danger.

11 November 1960Confederate prison commandant is shot by a wife whose Union soldier husband disappeared after the War Between the States. She tracked the ex-warden down because she believes her spouse is still alive, so he tries to soothe her, saying he released all his POWs. Trail boss Gil, who fought for the South, intervenes between the livid woman and the reptilian jailer turned wealthy cotton planter, but then Gil's drovers find the woman dead.

16 December 1960Mushy's no-nonsense mom foils a stage robbery on her way to see him. Martha Mushgrove pulled down one highwayman's mask to slap him, so the robbers track her to eliminate a witness. 24 March 1961Entering dangerous Commanche Territory is a herd bound for Australia, whose only drovers are a wizened Ozzie, his stunning fiancée, and a huge Aboriginal. Gil helps strike a bargain with the Commanche chief for safe passage, but when a cowboy, having escaped from prison, is rejected as a drover, he offers the chief a scheme to seize both herds. The cowboy's half Commanche, and the Australian fiancée's his former grifting partner.

20 October 1961Drover Jim Quince's niece begs for his help in keeping her fiancé from being tried for murder by her bitter father. Her father has become a hanging judge, following the accidental shooting of his wife. When Judge Quince sent a posse to keep the young couple from eloping, a member of the group fired at the fiancé, who killed him in self defense.

3 November 1961A rustler joins Gil's drive as a drover, while his gang tracks the herd. Cattle thief Clay Forrester arouses Gil's suspicions, because his cockiness and leadership ability are at odds with his willingness to start at the bottom. Tender-hearted Gil also takes in a young woman riding alone, whose own story doesn't jibe either.
10 November 1961Rowdy escorts an injured sheepman and his flock to a nearby town. However, when the town's residents think that he is one of the sheepmen, Rowdy finds himself on the receiving end of the same kind of treatment he used to dish out to sheepmen.
