The BBC is hoping to mount television productions of some of the most popular musicals being staged in London's West End theaters, Britain's Guardian newspaper reported today (Tuesday). The publicly funded broadcaster reportedly is especially eager to televise top revivals, including South Pacific and My Fair Lady, and is currently attempting to resolve rights issues.
