Continuity: When Mike makes a short phone call to Margaret, he is holding a long lit cigarette. But when he hangs up the phone the cigarette has disappeared.
Continuity: When he says to Tracy his father was a teacher in South Bend, Mike puts both his hands between his legs. In the next shot he has his hands leaning on the couch by his sides.
Continuity: After Tracy introduces George to Mike and Liz, George pours drinks for everybody. From one shot to another, Dexter-Haven's drink appears in his hand without his picking it up. Mike picks up his drink twice. Margaret's drink also appears in her hand without her picking it up.
Boom mic visible: When George takes Tracy, who's obviously had too much to drink, into the blue walled room during the party to lie down on the couch, before she gets there, a boom mike is visible at the top of the screen.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): During the singing of "Did You ever" by Dexter and Mike in the bar in the library, they pick up the wrong champagne glasses after Dexter has topped them up.
Continuity: When Tracy comes up from below deck in the "True Love" flashback scene, she is wearing blue tennis shoes. Although the dialogue is continuous, she is barefoot in the very next shot, then the shoes appear again, though we never see her take them off (or on).
