Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There is little to no sex in this film. Towards the end, you can see nudity through Christine's nightgown, but it is barely visible.

Violence & Gore

A man is drowned. There is talk of murder and death throughout the whole film. A man's dead body is shown in a bath tub; this is disturbing and hard to look at.

There is no gore in this film.

Profanity

Quite a lot, considering the time period. A few uses of d**m, b**ch, h*ll, sh*t, and one use of f**k. Not much by today's standards.

A man is drugged, people drink in civilized manners.

The whole film is suspenseful to a degree. The last fifteen minutes of the film are extremely intense and frightening. Some images and concepts could be frightening to children, and the film may induce nightmares.
