After another scuffle Fiske takes off with Halliday and Joan in hot pursuit across Veracruz, and Blake following along behind them. Police Colonel Ortega (Ramon Novarro) has reasoned that the four are up to no good and follows as well managing to head them off at several points gathering more information to build his arrest case. Eventually they all end up at a secluded rendezvous point with a mysterious collector and a show down that threatens to bring a bad end to this chase.
