| 45th anniversary edition. The dialogue is very difficult to understand. Orson Welles recorded the audio first and then had the actors lip synch to it. They did all the audio like a radio drama and recorded it with effects. Then they could shoot without sound to a running playback of the audio. Welles thought this was a good idea for a while, but it obviously doesn't work. |
