Adventures of Don Juan (1948)

The second box set of five Hollywood classics starring dashing action hero Errol Flynn, this one with a focus on war films and other highlights in his career. The Charge of the Light Brigade (1936), his second film as a leading man, reunites him with the team that made The Sea Hawk, director Michael Curtiz and leading lady Olivia de Havilland, for a rousing 17th century war adventure based on Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s poem. He takes to the skies in the World War I drama The Dawn Patrol (1938), starring with David Niven as a devil-may-care flier facing certain death with every mission. Basil Rathbone co-stars as their hated commander. In Dive Bomber (1941), Flynn is a flight medical researcher who teams up with squadron commander Fred MacMurray to stop pilots from blacking out from the G-forces. In Gentleman Jim (1942) he's the real-life boxing legend James C. "Gentleman Jim" Corbett, the dapper sportsman who raised the profile of the backroom sport.
