  • Plot holes: When Dracula bites Sandra's neck in front of a large mirror, his reflection is as clear as that of any mortal.

  • Continuity: When Dracula first appears, he sticks his hand out of the coffin twice.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Chick and Wilbur are down in the cellar of the castle (by the revolving wall), listen closely and you can hear Wilbur call Chick "Abbott" by mistake.

  • Crew or equipment visible: Crewmember visible turning the secret door when Wilbur is running from the monsters in the cellar.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: Chick tells Wilbur to untie the boat that they're in at a dock, while the Monster throws barrels at them from a pier. However, Chick's lips don't move as he talks to Wilbur.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When McDougal and his friend confront Wilbur and Chick on the pier towards the end of the film, Wilbur and Chick both say, "McDougal!" but neither Chick's or Wilbur's lips moves.

  • Continuity: The placard that Wilbur reads to learn about Dracula in the museum is pristine in long shot, but creased and dented in close-up. The close-up was apparently shot after Wilbur bashed the sign against Dracula's coffin in the long shot.

  • Continuity: The guillotine behind Dracula's coffin in the museum that Wilbur accidentally activates is missing when Dracula and the monster leave the museum.

  • Revealing mistakes: As the monster begins to sit up in the crate in the house of horrors after being revived by Dracula, you can see the monster make-up separate between his right eye and brow.

  • Revealing mistakes: When the Frankenstein monster starts to move on the lab table towards the end of the film the electrode on the right side of his neck starts to separate from his neck.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When the Frankenstein monster throws girl through lab window, you can see a crew member catch or make sure she lands okay outside window.

  • Miscellaneous: The title is incorrect - the characters never meet Dr. Frankenstein or his heirs, only his creation, "The Monster". Wilbur compounds this by addressing the Monster as "Frankie".

  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Charles Bradstreet is credited as Dr. Stevens, but his character is never once called "Dr. Stevens." He is always referred to as Professor Stevens.

  • Continuity: At the end of the movie when Mcdougal ties up the boat, he ties it to the right side of the ladder. A few minutes later Wilbur and Chick get in and it's tied to the opposite side of the ladder.

  • Continuity: Despite the fact that Mcdougal has been attacked by the wolf-man who inflicts an almost fatal wound to his neck, he is neither wearing a bandage on his neck nor is evidently the least bit scratched near the ending when he arrives at the dock.
