A newspaper announcement of the day boasts that in person for the premiere would be Joel McCrea, Veronica Lake, Donald Crisp, Don DeFore, Preston Foster, Charles Ruggles and "15 other Hollywood Stars".

As in most stories by Luke Short, this one is more on plot than action. McCrea is good as the 'old cowhand' that eventually does the right thing. Good supporting cast, featuring Lloyd Bridges.
