I saw this movie in the forties when I was small boy. The only impression then was that it was quite terrifying. Now many years later I watched it again, this time after retiring from working in a prison for 33 years and found a lot of it quite realistic. Some of it was stupid of course, like the ending but overall I could relate to a lot of it.
