Now a dog can't even take a nap peacefully!, 3 August 2008

"Quiet Please!" is a cool cartoon, among the best from the cat and mouse and certainly a very typical one with funny moments, violent gags, rivalries and chases.

The whole cartoon is full of energy and determination by Tom and Jerry. This is one of their most active cartoons. As they often do, they run all over the house. Tom chases Jerry all over the place. However, they do not respect Spike, who is trying to take a nap. Poor Spike can't even sleep in peace! Not only Tom makes huge noise while chasing Jerry, but also slams Spike numerous times. Initially, instead of having a reaction, he does his best to try to sleep, but nothing works, so he decides to have a few words with Tom, claims how he is driving him nuts, asks him to be careful and threats to skin him alive.

The rest is predictable. Jerry makes sure it does happen. It doesn't work out immediately, but in the end Jerry's plan works and Tom's brilliant idea comes from a triumph to a failure. However, during all these minutes, several moments of fun and amusement are very present.

This cartoon provides us some good laughters with its hysterical silliness. After all, Tom & Jerry were always like this: famous for their violent gags and simultaneously hysterical goofiness. As a cartoon, this is pure fun, a loyal follower of Tom & Jerry's line/tradition.
