Not the sparkling comedy one associates with the name "Ernst Lubitsch." It's okay if you find the three top billed stars entertaining. Eve Arden is subdued in a small role, with only a hint of the sardonic humor that became her trademark later. The film is well made, easy to look at, but as so often seen in these golden age comedies, the characters act nonsensically too often.
(And I'm sorry, Merle, but even though you were only 30 years old when this was made, and the character you played only 6 years younger, I didn't buy it. You were too sophisticated to pull off a character of 24.)
