  • On the Criterion DVD, the title appears on the screen in a different kind of letter type from that found on most VHS issues and television broadcasts of he film.

  • The opening credits were re-done for the 1950's re-release of the movie. It is these credits that have turned up on all telecasts of the film (at least, up till now) and all previous video releases. The Criterion release restores all of the credits to their original form.
