Dated '30s movie. DVD review.
A newly married couple (Stewart and Lombard) have a baby but it gets sick. Only a serum from Salt Lake City can save the child.
Slow moving and familiar tale that starts out quite funny but soon turns into soap opera. The best part of the movie involved Lombard's problems with her mother-in-law (Watson). Coburn is the stern boss who gives Stewart a 25% drop in salary (in a heartbreaking scene). But the movie is too tame, slow-moving, and clichéd. I thought Stewart and Lombard made an ill-suited couple and weren't really made for each other.
This movie is quite dated but contains a few good scenes.
