In 1938, Barbara Stanwyck and Melvyn Douglas starred in a Lux Radio Theatre version of the play, and in 1939 Bette Davis and Spencer Tracy starred in another radio version of the story.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Bette Davis is riding the horse and the horse refuses the jump and falls down, Davis (or the stunt-rider) clearly falls on her left side. But in the next scene, when her sister asks, 'How's the shoulder?' Davis wiggles her right shoulder and says it's 'all right.'
