First talkie appearance of Charlie Chan is the films sole interest., 21 August 2000

Only one thing kept my interest throughout this film: the first talkie appearance of Charlie Chan. Unfortunately, he doesn't appear until towards the end, so you have to sit through this dull film. This is even more stilted than the usual early talkie. If you like Chan movies, then sure, watch this, but all others stay away.
