Not one of Keaton's best, this early short is a delightful experience nevertheless. It is mostly plot less, with Keaton inavertedly getting into some funny situations. It does not contain a single classic piece of comic mayhem, but it is one of his most consistently funny shorts. I liked the beginning best, but things get pretty off the wall during the last section of the film. Keaton trying to survive in the wilderness is something to be seen. The ending is particularly wonderful. Once again, I made sure I watched this short twice because I did not want to miss anything. It is so easy to get distracted when you are laughing so hard. If anything, it demonstrates that even minor Keaton is better than anything out-there. If you are a fan of Keaton or love silent classic you will enjoy it. It's funny.
