Warning: Spoiler alert!!! Do not read further if you haven't already seen the movie "Precious"! Few have responded to Lee Daniels' newest offering with indifference. In the New York Times A. O. Scott gushed, "Push achieves an eloquence that makes it far more than a fictional diary of extreme dysfunction, so too does "Precious" avoid the traps of well-meaning preachy lower-depths realism.
