Jackson Denies Quadruplets Reports

Troubled superstar Michael Jackson has hit out at reports that he is to be the father of quadruplets, even though magazine Us Weekly is standing by its recently published story. Publicist Raymone Bain, in response to reports yesterday that Jackson was expecting four children via a surrogate mother, said, "This is not true, and we are not going to further comment on stories of this nature." According to stories published in Us Weekly and other magazines, Jackson is reportedly to become the father of quadruplets, after a besotted American actress agreed to be artificially inseminated. Jackson, 45, is said to have asked the mystery woman to carry his children in a series of letters, after she had firstly written to him to express her support for his upcoming trial on child molestation charges. The actress reportedly became pregnant in May, long after Jackson was arrested and charged by Californian officials, and is thought to be a mother-of-three from Florida. It is believed she has signed a privacy document with Jackson's lawyers, to guarantee her silence. An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, "She had all sorts of medications to prepare her, and by early May she became pregnant." And an American journalist tells the publication, "This is coming from inside sources, very inside the Jackson camp. We're not revealing any details about the mother. As with many things in the Michael Jackson camp, it is a big mystery." Jackson already has three children, two of whom - Prince Michael, seven, and Paris, six - are believed to have been conceived in a surrogacy arrangement. --IMDb staff contributed to this report

Love's Hospital Stay Extended

Troubled rocker Courtney Love's court date will be further delayed because she's expected to stay in the hospital "at least until August 5". The former Hole frontwoman - who pleaded guilty to drug charges on May 25 - had been due in a Los Angeles court on Friday for sentencing but missed the appointment because she was seeking medical attention in New York for a "gynecological problem". Judge Patricia M Schnegg granted the request to delay Love's court appearance, but made it a requirement that if the singer leaves the Manhattan medical facility where she's currently being treated she will have to travel to LA and report in court within 24 hours of release. The charge stems from an incident last October when Love was found by Los Angeles Police Department officers responding to a disturbance call at the home of former boyfriend. Love was booked on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Her lawyer has confirmed Love is expected to remain in care "at least until August 5".

Dunst Dumps Gyllenhaal

Hollywood beauty Kirsten Dunst has dumped her movie hunk boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal, blaming "filming commitments". Spider-Man 2 actress Dunst and The Day After Tomorrow actor Gyllenhaal had been an item for two years before the surprise split two weeks ago. Since they began dating both Dunst and Gyllenhaal have become internationally famous, and Dunst's role in the Spider-Man movies has made her one of the most recognizable actresses in the world. An insider says, "Kirsten and Jake had been spending a lot of time apart because they both had filming commitments. But Jake was totally besotted with her and is devastated that she has broken up with him. Kirsten's career has sky rocketed. She's one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood right now. She felt her relationship with Jake was emotionally draining and she couldn't cope with it on top of her work. It's very sad for Jake. He is really heartbroken."

Clooney Contemplates Legal Action

Superstar actor George Clooney has waged war on American newspaper USA Today after they published the exact address of his 18th century mansion on Lake Como in Italy. Clooney was outraged after the daily published an article featuring locals from the small town of Laglio discussing Clooney's palatial home and the presence of his Ocean's Twelve co-stars Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts in the lakeside area. A friend of Clooney's told Britain's Star magazine, "He will never give another interview. He is also considering legal action." The trouble started when the paper wrote an article on July 12 detailing the furor that the filming of Ocean's Twelve was causing in Europe - drawing particular attention to the gate of Clooney's 25 bedroom getaway.

Travolta To Pen Autobiography?

Hollywood actor John Travolta has become the latest star to join the publishing world, with a tell-all novel about his life. The Pulp Fiction star's representatives have reportedly been calling publishing houses to set up meetings between the 50-year-old actor and editors. A source tells Msnbc's website, "Someone called and asked if I'd be interested in meeting with John Travolta. Now I have to whip out some of my old Saturday Night Fever-inspired outfits." The source adds it's "highly unusual" for a celebrity of Travolta's caliber to be writing a novel about his life, explaining, "Usually, it's the lesser stars or someone in the twilight of his career or country and western stars. He certainly has an interesting story to tell."

Damon: I've Never Voted

Shamefaced Matt Damon has confessed he has never voted, even though best pal Ben Affleck is a leading celebrity Democrat. While Affleck makes plans to hit the campaign trail with Democrat presidential hopeful John Kerry, Damon reveals he always felt his vote meant nothing. The actor says, "My reasoning has always been - and this is the worst thing to say - that because I'm from Massachusetts, everyone I would have ever voted for didn't need my vote. That's changing now because of where we're going in this country (America)." Damon insists he'll be the among the first Bostonians registering to vote in November . He adds, "I'll vote for John Kerry. The last election I had this feeling everyone was just going toward the middle and it's the same thing no matter what, and it turned out to be the most politically critical moment in my lifetime."

Bratt's Embarrassing Oprah Appearance

Hollywood actor Benjamin Bratt suffered the ultimate embarrassment when he agreed to surprise a fan on Oprah Winfrey's chat show - she had no idea who he was. Bratt was initially happy to go along with making his alleged admirer's day, but once the two met he quickly learned that a big mistake had been made somewhere along the line. He recalls, "There was the story of an aunt who had written in to the show saying that her niece is a huge Benjamin Bratt fan and she was disappointed because she couldn't get tickets for the show. So the producers of the show wanted to surprise her. They called her down to a spa in downtown Chicago and they told her that she was going to be the recipient of a massage and a facial, etc. Well, the gag was for me to show up with a bouquet of flowers and walk out to the lobby where she was sitting and say, as I did, 'Hi, I'm Benjamin Bratt, I'm going to be your masseur for the day!' She just looked up at me and went, 'Okay...' She had no idea who I was! The aunt got the niece to show up at the spa and she had no idea who I was, so needless to say, it was footage that was completely unusable. It was incredibly humbling."

Stewart Slams King Over Cell Makeover Joke

Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart slammed American chat show host Larry King on Monday night - after he joked she could do a makeover on her cell when she goes to jail later this year. The 63-year-old businesswoman was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice by a New York jury on Friday, and was sentenced to five months in prison and another five under house arrest by judge Miriam Cederbaum. On last night's edition of Larry King Live, which was recorded prior to Stewart's sentencing, King infuriated the usually-calm star when he made the joke while quizzing her over the trial. Martha snapped, "It's not a joking matter. I'm afraid to be incarcerated. It's a lack of freedom. My freedom is taken away." But Stewart did reveal she has already made plans of how to cope with the spell in jail - she's going to write a self-help book. She adds, "It's going to be a bestseller."

Dawson Dating 'Sex and the City' Hunk?

Sexy actress Rosario Dawson has turned her amorous attentions to TV hunk Jason Lewis, despite the model-turned-actor's limited dance skills. Dawson - who reportedly enjoyed a brief romance with Colin Farrell on the set of their upcoming movie Alexander - was spotted passionately kissing the Sex And The City star at Vin Diesel's birthday bash in Miami, Florida at the weekend . However, Dawson's attraction to Lewis - who played Samantha Jones' toyboy Smith Jerrod in the defunct comedy - was temporarily reduced when the actor failed to ignite the dance floor at Prive nightclub, according to website Pagesix.Com. In front of an audience including Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, Spike Lee and Busta Rhymes, Lewis sparked hilarity with a series of spectacularly uncoordinated dance moves.

Alba Terrified For Her Uncle in Iraq

Sexy actress Jessica Alba is desperately worried about the fate of her uncle who is serving in the American army in Iraq. The Honey star says her relative Nick Stanisci has been in the war-torn nation since January and the entire family fears they will hear the news he is dead every day. Alba laments, "He has three children who are right now in their most formative years - 19, 16 and 15 years old - and at any moment he could be no more. We don't know what kind of food he's getting to eat, if he's wearing the same clothes every day and taking a shower once a week, or sleeping with his machine gun. I just don't have a great feeling about what we're doing in Iraq. I don't know why we're there. Didn't we just give the power back over there? Why are we still there?" Even though Alba is disapproves of US President George W. Bush's actions, she is still unsure of whether to vote against him in the upcoming November presidential elections. She adds, "I don't want to upset my family. My family believes the opposite of what I believe. They're all Republicans."
